So sorry to hear about your loss. It must be about twenty years since my King Charles Spaniel Lucy was accidentally run over and I still miss her unconditional loyalty. I bought her for the children, but as she liked to go for walks at 2.00 am in the morning she became mine.
Wah! She was a great bossy wee thing. Will miss her. Your boys will always remember her. Do get another cat (or, I dare you!) doggo. The Symon household without a four footed companion is unthinkable! (and, no, you cannot borrow Jackson).
Vanda, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Smooch. It's such a sad time when a family pet dies. We lost Narney (a cat who looked very much like your Smooch) a few months ago and I still miss him very much, despite the arrival of a new adorable kitten. My thoughts are with you, hubby and the boys as you adjust to your loss.
I never cease to be amazed at how our animals become part of our families

ReplyDeleteVanda - I am so, so sorry. We recently lost our 14 1/2 year old Tibetan Terrier, and it is always heartbreaking. My thoughts to you...

ReplyDeleteMuch love and hugs to you all.
I'll have to see if I have any cat sympathy cards in my stash....
ReplyDeleteMy condolences on your cat.
