- When I'm not writing Crime novels I'm busy working as a research fellow at the Va'a o Tautai - Center for Pacific Health in Dunedin, New Zealand. I am the author of the Sam Shephard detective series, published by Orenda Books - Overkill, The Ringmaster, Containment and Bound. I have also written the stand alone thriller Faceless. If I'm not writing or working, I can be found on the business end of a fencing foil.

So excited to say that I read that particular copy of Containment!!!! Woo hoo! Vanda, your house is well looked after in your absence, even managed to do a load of your children's clothing (I swear I will not iron any jeans!). But so very excited to have had a chance to read the new book...even if it was between stolen moments of ignoring husbands watching rugby and talkative children. I am confident that the other fans of your blog will be as excited about getting their hands on Sam's latest and greatest adventures.
