Done!

The thesis is submitted, the novel is finished (except for the proof reading) and finally, I get to relax - well as much as you can with the kids at home for the holidays. But then, we can still be in our Pyjamas at lunch time if we want, and the books scattered everywhere and the sea of Lego across the lounge floor attests to the fact the kids are well occupied.

I'm now turning serious attention to my garden...

Here's a few pics of the wonderful things popping up in it in spring...

Vanda - Well done! I am happy for you that your projects are done. Your flowers look lovely! I hope you enjoy your rest and some time with the kids; my daughter always liked Legos, too :-).

Your garden looks lovely. The first spring in a new house is like reading a wonderful mystery - enjoy.

Thank you, Margot and Dorte. It feels so good not to have anything hanging over my head.

Pen, it's funny you should say that, I find myself getting an urge...

Sue, that's such a great way of describing the joy of seeing what will pop up next in the garden. It is truly amazing, and as I love gardening, I'm in seventh heaven.

Thanks, Jose and Kerrie. I like to keep happily busy - but not to the point of losing the plot!
