Finally, a date...

...for the announcement of the Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Crime Novel:

Whodunnit and Whowunnit?
with the presentation of the inaugural Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Crime Novel
7:30pm, Tuesday 30 November 2010
Visions on Campus Restaurant, CPIT, cnr Madras St & Ferry Road, Christchurch
Drinks and nibbles from 7pm, author panel from 7:30pm
$10, includes a glass of wine and nibbles

Now all I have to figure out is what to wear!

But definitely not a beret and pearls - it would take a special kind of a gal to carry that off!

I reckon you could carry that off. Go you!

You'd look great in a beret, Vanda.
But what would be better would be an award on your shelf wearing a beret and pearls. Fingers and toes crossed!

Cool to see that you are doing a panel before the presentation. A little birdy tells me that since Alix Bosco (who is the other award nominee but isn't real) can't be there, that Paul Cleave is going to do the panel. Awesome stuff.

Oh, and good luck.

Ah, Pauline and Sue, I was thinking that seeing as I'll be up on stage with lots of blokes, I'd go ultra feminine - play the lady.

Dave, cool - I didn't even know the panel, but hoped they'd pop Paul in there - it will be great fun!

What about a devine tamsin cooper jacket ? And I concur you would totally rock ladylike pearls with a beret
Everything is crossed around here 'cause we know you are the best
