Thanks everyone. It's exciting when you get the cover sorted and it starts to feel like a real book.
Rachael - as for the Kate Mosse quote, it's amazing what a girly chat over a few wines will do - I had the pleasure of a lovely wine bar outing with Kate, Mary McCallum and Fiona Kidman while at the Christchurch Writer's Festival. Kate loved my books and was happy to oblige.
Alas, Erin, no, Hubby doesn't get cover credits. After sending him out on numerous photo expeditions and him submitting a lot of pictures, the marketing team didn't like them, or my skull pictures so the stock photos and the hand won. Despite all the wasted time on our part, I really like it.
When I'm not writing Crime novels I'm busy being a Domestic Goddess and queen of my household in Dunedin. The first in my Sam Shephard detective series, Overkill, was published by Penguin New Zealand in 2007. The Ringmaster was released in August 2008, Containment in December 2009 and Bound in February 2011.
