After our most recent move we promised one another - yet again - that we would definitely lighten the load for the next time and ditch all the books unread or not that we are never ever ever ever going to look at.
Polly's reference book collection collapsed one of the shelves as we were reshelving last week.
When I'm not writing Crime novels I'm busy working as a research fellow at the Va'a o Tautai - Center for Pacific Health in Dunedin, New Zealand. I am the author of the Sam Shephard detective series, published by Orenda Books - Overkill, The Ringmaster, Containment and Bound. I have also written the stand alone thriller Faceless. If I'm not writing or working, I can be found on the business end of a fencing foil.

I have yet to take the long overdue and drastically urgent step of buying more bookcases.
Can I rent shelf space from you?

Hugh, I like the way you blame Polly's books for causing the avalanche!
Peter, I'd rent the space, except I've almost filled up the new shelves already. Hmmmmm.
