Hehe ... but you have your mother staying with you ... isn't she doing the housework? Steph (my beautiful wife) always use to rush around the house tidying before her mum came to stay but her mum would always find something to do.
So now we don't panic and if she wants to get up a 6am and put a load of washing on ... heh ... we don't care.
